Here are samples of a few bike rides from the book, and some others not in the book. Hope you enjoy them, and if you find any changes necessary when on the rides, please drop me a note!

Urban routes:

Chief Sealth: A New Seattle Trail.You don't need to leave Seattle to get a great view of Mount Rainier from an off-street bike trail. Look no further than the new Chief Sealth Trail atop Beacon Hill in south Seattle. Biking Puget Sound.com Article: Chief Sealth Trail

Historic Seattle Route. Before there were cars in Seattle, there were bikes. Here's a route that closely follows the original bike path created in the 1890s from downtown Seattle to the wooded shores of the big lake. Mountain Views, Floating Bridges: The I-90 Trail. The paved, off-street I-90 Trail runs from the north edge of Beacon Hill, just above the I-5/I-90 interchange, east across Lake Washington and Mercer Island to Bellevue. Seattle Waterfront: A Trail for the Cycling Tourist.Want to turn your visitors on to bicycling in Seattle while showing them our famous sights, like the new Seattle Art Museum Sculpture Park? Rural routes:

Early Season Country Training. Snohomish County's Centennial Trail is a flat, straight rail-trail with smooth asphalt from a recent extension. At 18 miles each way, it makes a good spring warmup route. Biking Puget Sound Excerpt: Centennial Trail

Ride King County Farmland. Ahh, rural cycling: exercise, fresh air, country scenery. On the Harvest Celebration Farm Tour day, you can visit many farms and help support sustainable local agriculture. Revised Tacoma Ride. Since Biking Puget Sound was first published, the Tacoma Narrows bridge expansion was finished, and the second span was opened.
